The Mattress Factory, Unit 211

The Mattress Factory building is a conversion from manufacturing to mixed-use development. It is home to 34 loft-style apartments and the offices of Preservation Studios and a law firm. The concrete structure was built in 1911 with numerous additions over the years contributing to its eclectic character. The two story building is located in the historic Hamlin Park neighborhood, an area recently experiencing rejuvenation.The building has been repurposed under the federal Preservation Guidelines and is now on the National Register for Historic Buildings.
